Introduction of Laser Scratch Acrylic

Glad to meet you guys here, past weeks ago, I’ve received few materials from GreatCarve.

I’d like to say, this kind of materials really changed my imagination, I haven’t meet this kind of materials before, and as you all know, I stared to touch the laser machine with the woods first, and then the slates, and then the painted canvas and the painted tiles, now I stared to touch the scratch acrylic.

Introduction of laser scratch acrylic

Maybe lots of you do not know about this kind of materials, but I’d like to say, it’s amazing, dude! It’s actually a kind of colored acrylic sheets, but with a different color on its surface, that you can engraved the surface color and the color of bottom will show up followed.

And its easy to show the details of the image if you set up with the right parameters. It’s perfect instead the painted canvas and painted tiles, and reduce the painted progress, which means it not only can save the time of painting but also you can get a more prefect coated of both canvas and tiles.

Moreover, its very friendly for cut, even the 5 watts diode laser engraver.

Black/White scratch acrylic: 20W diodes laser; speed 142mm/sec; power 23.3% Colored acrylic sheets for laser cutting set: speed 6mm/sec; power 90%

Black/Yellow scratch acrylic: 20W diodes laser; speed 151mm/sec; power 21.7% Colored acrylic sheets for laser cutting set: speed 6mm/sec; power 90%

Sliver/Black scratch acrylic: 20W diodes laser; speed 151mm/sec; power 26.7% Colored acrylic sheets for laser cutting set: speed 6mm/sec; power 90%
